Expert Newborn Care:
With years of experience as a childbirth and baby care educator, Rachael brings a deep understanding of newborn development and gentle care practices. She’s well-versed in everything from soothing techniques to diapering and bathing, helping you feel more confident in your new role.
Feeding Support, Your Way:
Whether you're breastfeeding, bodyfeeding, bottle feeding, or a combination, Rachael provides compassionate, evidence-based guidance. As a trained breastfeeding educator, she can offer hands-on support, help troubleshoot challenges, and empower you to feed your baby in a way that feels right for you.
Time for Self-Care:
Rachael can care for your newborn while you take a moment to rest, shower, eat, or simply breathe. Your well-being is vital—and with a trusted doula by your side, you can recharge knowing your baby is in good hands.
Gentle Sleep Support:
Need help navigating those early sleep challenges? Rachael can try different soothing techniques and routines to help your baby sleep more soundly. She can also support you in creating a sleep-friendly environment and gently guide baby toward sleeping in their own space, when you’re ready.
Overnight Care for Restful Recovery:
One of the most transformative services Rachael offers is overnight postpartum support. She can care for your baby through the night—feeding, soothing, changing—so that you can get the uninterrupted rest your body and mind need to heal and recharge. Parents often say this kind of support is a game changer in those first few weeks and months.
Resources & Referrals When You Need More:
Postpartum recovery isn’t one-size-fits-all. Rachael can help connect you with trusted professionals in your area, including lactation consultants, pelvic floor therapists, mental health counselors, sleep specialists, and more. Having the right team around you can make a world of difference, and Rachael is here to help you build that village.
Emotional Support & Reassurance:
The postpartum period can be a rollercoaster of emotions. Rachael provides a calm, grounding presence, offering reassurance, validation, and a listening ear as you process the changes of new parenthood.
What can a Postpartum Doula do for you?
